Christmas lights

I've got to admire this person. Spreading Christmas cheer while saving resources. Very economical.

Tuesday, November 3

1. When the new minister was at the Christian Ed meeting tonight, I made a reference to September 19 [NOTE- NOT directly relevant to the Chr. Ed. program] and Michael was the only one in the room who got the reference. Michael rocks.

2. Michael also shows promise in other ways. It's not just the pirate thing.

3. I'm very fond of the song "Smile," by, (ugh) Uncle Kracker. This produces a level of shame equal to or even slightly greater than the "I'm Yours" situation.

4. Finally got Harrison to the dentist.
5. This.

I hope you can forgive me

I just discovered that entry #2 on October 28 is identical to #1 from January 16 or 17. I feel just awful about it.

Monday, November 2

1. Haircut. Finally.

2. Lunch with Sarah and Sarah.

3. Thrift store shopping with Sarah and Sarah.

4. Sunny day.

5. This.

Sunday, November 1

1. Communion this morning went smoothly. I'm sure most people take this sort of thing for granted.
2. Beautiful day.
3. Picked up new dog today. Emi, the dog formerly known as Josie, is on the premises.
4. Harrison is going on the mission trip next weekend.
5. Harrison is planning on going on the mission trip even if I can't go. I was nervous.

Saturday, October 31

1. Just had a wonderful dinner of grilled tuna, rice pilaf, broccoli that was in the garden ten minutes earlier, and bread warm from the oven.

2. Jeff baked the aforementioned bread. Fresh, homemade bread is awesome, but even better when I didn't have to put any effort into it.

3. Even with all that going on, I came home from work to a clean kitchen.

4. Early shift at work means I'm home in time to have a life.

5. This.
