1. Work wasn't totally hellish today.
2. The dentist still saw the boys even though I got them there really late. Really.
3. I made it to the gas station when I was sure I would run out of gas halfway there.
4. Beautiful night for Trick or Treat. Awesome.
5. I scored a ton of candy just by taking the stuff none of the kids wanted-Butterfinger, Baby Ruth, Almond Joy...

Joan!! How did you train your kids to not like Butterfingers?? I need to know your secret!
security word: racculat Doesn't it sound like some British card game that we could play while you push tea on us?
I didn't train them not to like Butterfingers! I raised them to be decent, God-fearing, Butterfinger-eating citizens. I don't know where I went wrong. Oh woe is me. I need to go eat another candy bar to help heal my broken heart.
Yes, after you have the baby we can sit around playing racculat, drinking tea, and eating Butterfingers. And discussing what we've been reading, of course.
